believe housing is recruiting tenants and leaseholders to its new customer panel, VOCAL – the voice of the customer and leaseholder.

The new group will represent the voice of those living in the 18,400 homes collectively owned and managed by Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes.

Rachel Edmunds, Community Investment Manager, said: “We have recently reviewed our governance structures, and want our landlords’ customers to be central to our revised frameworks.

“VOCAL will meet every quarter to discuss the issues faced by real people on our neighbourhoods, including repairs, antisocial behaviour, lettings, improvements and investments, as well as make recommendations to our board.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is passionate about making a difference, not just to the services the group delivers, but to the impact a successful housing offer can have on communities overall.”

Potential candidates will need to complete a short application form, with informal interviews scheduled for week commencing Monday, 12 December 2016.

For more information on how to apply call Rachel Edmunds on 0191 349 7567 or email rachel.edmunds@cdhg.co.uk
