Faye Gordon comes to Durham as Head of Finance, following a successful 17-year career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

With previous experience of working with a number of registered housing providers, the Homes and Communities Agency and National Housing Federation, Faye is a great asset to the newly established group of landlords, which includes Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes.

Her role will see her heading up the group-wide Finance Team, following the transfer of ownership and management of homes from Durham County Council in April of this year.

She said of her recent appointment: “It’s not often in your career you have the opportunity to be part of something new and make a real difference to people’s lives – and that’s exactly what believe housing offers.

“I am looking forward to working closely with our extremely experienced team, to ensure that the investment made to homes, estates and neighbourhoods not only meets tenants’ aspirations, but also provides excellent value.”

Faye is one of six new Heads of Service that have joined believe housing in the last month, as the organisation starts its quest to fulfil its ‘We believe in life without barriers’ vision.
