A new course is being offered to Bishop Auckland residents that will help improve focus and concentration.
The Introduction to Mindfulness course will give learners the chance to discover methods such as meditation, relaxation and breathing techniques. The five week programme aims to provide ways to better manage thoughts, feelings and body sensations in everyday life.

The course is the latest in a series being offered by believe housing right across the county covering a range of subjects from first aid and food safety to money management and counselling. The courses are free for believe housing tenants and anyone who is unemployed living locally.
Introduction to Mindfulness starts on Friday, 15 September at Selby Close Common Room, in St Helens Auckland, from 9.30am.
