An online training programme is helping residents to find those last minute stocking fillers.
Thanks to a £5,000 grant ‘Time to get online’, the digital inclusion training provider, has expanded its course remit through the ‘Learn my way’ portal.

Learn my way offers a suite of interactive programs no matter what participants’ level of understanding of the internet, including a range courses that are perfect for the festive season.

From ‘Shopping online’, to ‘Making money work’ and ‘Looking after the pennies’, participants will pick up hints and tips to take the stress out of Christmas shopping and find the best deals for their individual budget.

Vickie Musgrove, Digital Inclusion Co-ordinator, said: “While you may be happy compiling the odd online search, our targeted courses will make sure you are getting the most out of online shopping, especially at this costly and busy time of year.”

Learn my way offers additional training programs suited to a range of needs, including ‘Using email’, ‘Job hunting’ and ‘Staying safe online’.
