The course at Wheatbottom Community Hub is hosted by digital inclusion project Time to get online, and will help residents to realise the benefits the internet offers.

Debbie Howe, Digital Inclusion Project Co-ordinator, is encouraging people to come along.

“We’re getting together on Thursday, 24 November between 10am and 12pm to show people that getting online is not as daunting as it may appear.

“No matter what level of skills residents have, I would urge them to come along to see the advantages of the online world, including keeping in touch with family and friends, looking for work and saving money.”

For more information call Amy Glendinning, Community Development Coordinator, on 0300 2000 194 or email

‘Time to get online‘ offers a training programme though a believe housing partnership, together with local landlords Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes.
