Local landlord Dale & Valley Homes is hosting a ‘Big cook, little cook’ event at its Mickle Grove Community Training Hub in partnership with Bishop Auckland College.

By taking part, on Friday, 29 July between 10am and 3pm, attendees will pick up some basic cookery skills, get to try some tasty treats, and learn together as a family at the same time.

Kimberley Batey, Dale & Valley Homes’ Community Training Project Coordinator, thinks this is a great way to kick off the school holidays.

She said: “This will be a fun session for all the family, no matter what their level of skill around the kitchen.

“Booking is essential and places are limited, so to make sure you don’t miss out call us on 01388 770 974 or email k.batey@daleandvalleyhomes.co.uk

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and transport can be arranged to help people attend.

Dale & Valley Homes’ Community Training Hub offers a range of learning opportunities in an informal environment.
