Employees at a local housing group are celebrating a healthy win at a recent awards ceremony.
believe housing’s three landlords all walked away with an accolade from the North East Better Health at Work Awards.
Dale & Valley Homes won a gold standard award, Durham City Homes received silver, and East Durham Homes was given a continuing excellence award for the third year running.
And the housing group’s Engagement Team Leader, Jean Steel, outshone peers from other organisations across the region to walk away with the Health Advocate of the Year Award.
The advocate award recognises the enthusiasm and passion shown by an employee towards promoting wellbeing in the workplace.

Companies from across the region attended the Better Health at Work Awards, which recognises the efforts of employers in north east England and Cumbria to address health issues within the workplace.
