New team helps residents back into work

A new team will help Durham’s residents to secure training and job opportunities.

believe housing has brought together an Employability Team to work with customers to find work, access training, gain apprenticeships and venture into self-employment.

Claire Maddison, Senior Employability Co-ordinator, said: “If tenants have found themselves stuck in a rut and want to change, but are unsure where to start, then we can help.

“We work with people of all ages and backgrounds to reach their full potential by providing tailored training programmes, advice and support.”
