believe housing is opening the doors to Vicarage Flats on Wednesday, 5 September to highlight the variety of affordable homes available immediately.

A three-bedroom flat will be accessible for viewing throughout the open day from noon to 5.30pm.

The event is intended to give home hunters the chance to discuss available properties face-to-face with officers from the group, and find out how they could potentially get the keys to a new property within hours.

believe housing Head of Housing Operations, Simon Bartlett said: “Our last open day at Vicarage flats was a huge success, with lots of visitors and one new tenant picking up his keys straight away. We’re hoping to repeat that success in September.

“The event is a great opportunity to come and speak to housing officers who know the area well and can help with any questions on affordable housing.

“Lots of people still think that a housing association property is not an option, but we’ve got homes available immediately in a variety of locations.”

Vicarage Flats is situated near the centre of Brandon and is within easy reach of Durham city centre, as well as having a range of local amenities and schools on the doorstep.
