A housing provider has produced its first annual report after bringing together three local landlords.

believe housing is reporting on events from its first 12 months of establishment at, following the transfer of ownership and management of homes in April 2015 to Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes.

The 28-page report has been developed by working with tenants and tells the group’s story to date of how it meets its regulator, the Homes and Communities Agency’s, seven national housing standards.

Bill Fullen, believe housing Chief Executive, said: “Since coming together this is our first opportunity to reflect on what has been an extremely exciting and challenging time for a new organisation.

“With unprecedented changes in the housing sector and the cross-cutting implications of the government’s current welfare reform plans, the last 12 months have been unprecedented.

“However rather than cower in the face of adversity, we have adapted well, seized opportunities and modified our practices to enable us to deliver the housing services that our customers have told us they want to see.

“Our first annual report recounts this journey, and also maps out our future plans to grow and flourish together as a group.”

Customers can download the report online at, or request a copy from their landlord or by emailing
