Local community groups are being invited to apply for funding through a landlord’s grant scheme.

Durham City Homes’ ‘Grab-a-Grant’ offers awards of up to £500 to community groups and primary schools based in their local area that run projects or activities for tenants’ benefit.

Simon Bartlett, Durham City Homes Managing Director, is encouraging groups to apply.

He said: “We are committed to developing our neighbourhoods and the Grab-a-Grant scheme is a great example of how we can work in partnership with local groups to help them to grow and flourish for the benefit of the community.”
