Residents will be ‘sew’ impressed at free course

A new four-week training programme is packed with good material.kimberleybatey

Dale & Valley Homes are hosting an Introduction to Sewing at Mickle Grove Community Training Hub in Leeholme.

From Tuesday, 31 January between 10am and 12.30pm, attendees will learn about using different fabrics, the art of stitching and finishing, and how to make items for little money.

Kimberley Batey, Dale & Valley Homes’ Community Training Project Coordinator, said: “This is a great course for any budding designers, or for anyone wanting to brush up on their haberdashery skills.”
