An annual survey of believe housing customers is due to take place this month.

The Survey of Tenants and Residents (STAR) is a telephone survey carried out each year to capture the views of believe housing customers.

The 2020 survey will start on Monday, 16 November with phone calls taking place over a month-long period. The research will capture the views of 1,000 believe housing customers, selected at random.

The data collected will be used to help believe housing focus on further improvements for customers and shape high-level planning across the organisation.

Calls will last around 10 minutes and are being carried out during the daytime and early evening to accommodate the different needs of customers.

Louise Taylor, Head of Strategy and Performance at believe housing, said: “The annual STAR survey provides us with hugely important information on how our customers use, and rate, the services we provide.

“All of the information gathered informs how we improve the services we offer and where we set our priorities. We know it might not be easy for everyone who is contacted to spare the time to take part; but we really value the help out customers provide.”

The survey carried out in 2019 placed believe housing among the top ten providers of affordable housing in the country. It also helped inform work to improve the ease and speed of contacting believe housing, and to review services delivered to customers aged 35-45.

The research, carried out independently by The Leadership Factor, revealed that believe housing customers were particularly satisfied with the attitude of staff they came into contact with and the way they are treat fairly.
