Three of believe housing’s up-and-coming staff have picked up top national awards for their achievements.

Compliance apprentice Sinead Croucamp, electrical coordinator Jake Dowson and gas coordinator Rachel Copping-Summerson all triumphed at the Association of Safety and Compliance Professionals Awards.

All three have recently taken on new positions, have a shown real commitment to improving services at believe housing and have shone in their work and studies.

The Association of Safety and Compliance Professionals Awards recognises good practice and innovation in affordable housing and facilities management. Jake Rachel and Sinead were named joint winners in the ‘Rising Star Category’ at the event in Telford this month.

Ruth Dent, believe housing Director of Assets and Compliance, added: “We’re really proud of Jake, Rachel and Sinead for winning this award. They’ve all been really committed to their new roles and have been making a real difference for believe housing customers from the outset. They all deserve to be recognised.

“So many of our staff have gone the extra mile this year to ensure safety of our homes and customers. But these three had what it takes to impress the judges and I’m sure this accolade will stand them in good stead as their careers develop further.”

believe housing was also shortlisted in the ‘Best Overall Organisation Response to Covid-19’ section and Compliance Officer Emma Jorgenson was shortlisted in the ‘Women in Safety and Compliance’ category for her sector-leading work in water safety.
