We advise all our tenants take out take out their own home contents insurance.
Due to the transfer of insurance from Royal & Sun Alliance to Ecclesiastical Insurance, the Online Application Form will be temporarily unavailable for new applications from mid July 2026 until the launch of the new scheme on 1 October 2026. During this time, customers will also be unable to apply via telephone or paper application. We appreciate you’re understanding and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. This temporary pause is an important step to ensure a smooth and seamless transfer for all our current customers to the new scheme.

Your contents insurance covers your contents and personal items within the property; for example, the things you’d take with you if you moved house. This can also be considered as anything that would fall out of your house if you tipped it upside down.
To make a claim, you will need to contact the insurance administrators, Davies Group directly and not us at believe housing. You can do this by calling 0345 6718172.
