For this repair you will need:

1. A bleed key
2. Tissue or cloth to catch the water.

Top tip: Bleeding a radiator removes some of the pressure from your boiler, so once you’ve finished you will need to check your boiler pressure.

You can also follow along with the steps below

Turn off your heating and let your radiators cool down, this is to stop your radiators from being to hot when you are touching them and to avoid hot water leaking out.

Insert your bleed key into the bleed valve at the top of your radiator.

Make sure you’ve got your tissue to catch the bit of water that comes out.

Turn the bleed key anticlockwise and you will hear the air get released.

Once the water starts to come, turn the bleed key back clockwise.
