Salesforce Administrator

salary: £50,299 - £51,698 per annum location: Bishop Auckland, Hybrid, Seaham

We’re on the lookout for a Salesforce Administrator to join the believe housing team on a fixed term basis until April 2029.

We believe in life without barriers, if you think you’d be great in the role, we want to hear from you. We’re interested in your skills, experience and personal values and we’re committed to being a supportive and inclusive employer.

A flexible approach that works for you

We’re a family‑friendly organisation, and we encourage everyone to ‘work the believe way’; keeping things simple, focusing on what matters and removing unnecessary tasks.

Our offices are based in Seaham and Bishop Auckland and although we work flexibly, you will be required to be onsite some days every week with some offsite work and would need to be North East based in the UK.

Although this role is advertised as full-time, we will consider part-time, job share and alternative working pattern proposals where possible.

About the role

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the administration, optimisation, governance and continuous improvement of believe housing’s Salesforce platform, ensuring it operates effectively, securely and in alignment with organisational requirements.

As a key technical specialist, the role provides expert configuration, administration and support across multiple business functions, enabling colleagues to maximise the value of Salesforce and related technologies.

The successful candidate will:

  • Administer, configure and maintain the Salesforce platform, ensuring it remains secure, resilient, scalable and aligned to business requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain Salesforce data quality, identifying trends, inconsistencies and issues that may impact operational performance, reporting or decision-making.
  • Coordinate Salesforce release activities, including impact assessment, change planning, testing, deployment support and post-implementation review.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for Salesforce users, providing expert advice, troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Work closely with developers, data teams and third-party suppliers to investigate and resolve integration issues.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, technical specialists and external implementation partners to support platform enhancements and transformation initiatives
