believe housing is congratulating the Chair of its board, John Marshall, on being awarded an OBE for services to the North East economy.
John, who has been a board member since 2019 and now serves as Chair, has been recognised for his significant contribution to the region.
A solicitor by background, he holds a range of senior roles across the North East, including Chair of the North East Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the Newcastle United Foundation. He is also Vice Chair of the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and Chair of Governors at St Chad’s College, Durham.
Chief Executive Alan Smith said: “We are delighted to see John recognised with this well-deserved honour. His commitment to the North East, and the positive impact he continues to make across a range of sectors and important public services, is remarkable.
“John brings energy, insight and dedication to his roles. We greatly value his support and guidance and are proud to have him as chair of our board.”
