The new system offers a wider range of payment options right now, with more planned in the future, making it easier than ever to pay in a way that suits you.
More online payment methods, including Apple Pay.
Open banking coming soon.
Google Pay from next year.
Recurring card payments as an alternative to Direct Debit.
A new online Direct Debit form, allowing you to set one up quickly and securely online. We can also send the form directly to you by text message or email, making it even easier to get started.
Weekly Direct Debits now collected Monday to Friday, giving you greater flexibility when choosing your payment date.
Digital payment cards, which can be emailed directly to you for easy access on your phone.
Continued use of physical payment cards, accepted at Post Office, PayPoint and now Payzone locations.
KlickPay, a simple and secure payment link that can be sent directly to you by email or text message, allowing you to make a payment at a time that suits you.
Whether you prefer to pay online, over the phone, in person, or through automatic payments, our new system gives you more ways to stay in control of your rent account.
The new system does give you more ways to pay your rent, but it’s up to you whether you continue paying as you do today or take advantage of the new payment options available.
You may notice a few changes:
No. If you current payment arrangements are working for you, you don’t need to do anything.
No. If you already pay by Direct Debit, your payments will continue as normal and you don’t need to take any action.
Yes, With our new system, weekly Direct Debits can be collected on any weekday, Monday to Friday, the last day of the month and the last working day of the month. This will give you more flexibility to select a payment date that works best for you. Monthly Direct Debit collection dates remain unchanged and can be set between the 1st and 28th of the month.
A recurring card payment is an automated payment taken from your debit or credit card at agreed intervals. Like a Direct Debit, payments are collected automatically once you’ve provided your authorisation. However, instead of being taken from a bank account, the payment is collected from your chosen card. This option offers additional flexibility, including a wider range of payment dates and frequencies.
A digital payment card is an electronic version of your payment card that can be emailed directly to you and stored on your mobile device for convenient access when making payments.
You can request a digital payment card by calling us on 0300 1311 999 or by emailing rentalincome@believehousing.co.uk.
Yes, Your existing physical payment card can still be used at participating Post Office, PayPoint and Payzone locations.
Both physical and digital payment cards can be used at participating:

In the future, we will also be introducing:
KlickPay is a simple and secure payment method that allows us to send you a payment link by email, or by email and text message, so you can make a payment at a time that’s convenient for you. The payment link remains active for up to 72 hours after you receive it. The link may look slightly different from other believe housing online services; however, please be assured that this is a legitimate payment method provided to give you greater flexibility and choice. Once you make your payment, you will receive two receipts for your transaction. If you’re ever unsure about a payment link you’ve received, please contact us on 0300 1311 999 before making a payment.
From September 2026, the notice period for new, amended or reinstated Direct Debit payments will change from 10 days to three working days.
This means we’ll provide you with at least five working days’ notice before setting a new Direct Debit up and collecting a payment; and at least three working days’ notice for it to be changed or reinstated.
Existing Direct Debits will continue as normal and no action is required from you.
