Radbot
Your Radbot is a smart thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) fitted to one or more radiators in your home. It helps keep that room at a steady, comfortable temperature.
Once installed, it works automatically. You don’t need Wi-Fi, and you don’t need to programme it. It uses small sensors to learn when you are using each room.
What you need to know:
- It works automatically
- Your Radbot notices changes in light and humidity to understand when someone is in the room. It will then warm the room when you’re likely to need it
- It can help lower your energy use. By only heating rooms when you are using them, your Radbot helps reduce how much energy you need to stay warm. This can help lower your heating bills.
How to use it
Choose a comfortable temperature
We recommend keeping your home between 18°C and 21°C. This helps maintain a steady, comfortable heat. The Radbot has settings from 1 to 7. 1 is the coolest, 7 is the warmest. Setting 3 gives you around 19°C.

Boost button
If you need quick extra heat, press the Boost button on top of the Radbot.
This gives you 30 minutes of maximum heat. Your boiler must be on for this to work.

Keep it clear
Make sure your Radbot is not covered by furniture or curtains. The sensors need to be clear to work properly.
Don’t switch it off
If you’re not using a room, turn the Radbot down to setting 1 or 2. If you are going away, use the frost mode (snowflake symbol).

Maintenance
Your Radbot is low maintenance. It runs on two AA batteries, which may need changing from time to time. The Radbot will flash when the batteries are low.
If the batteries run out, the radiator will still heat at its last setting, but the smart features won’t work until the batteries are
replaced.
