Bonfire Night 2025: Where to Watch Fireworks Across County Durham

From big displays to cosy community events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Here are some of the highlights:

  1. Durham Cricket’s Festival of Fireworks kicks things off on Saturday, 1 November in Chester-le-Street, lighting up the skies over the Riverside Ground from 7:30pm.
  2. In Bishop Auckland, the Kynren Pyromusical returns the same evening at 7:00pm, combining fireworks and music for a truly immersive experience.
  3. Beamish Hall’s Fireworks Extravaganza runs from 2 – 5 November, with live entertainment, fairground rides, and street food. Gates open at 6pm, with fireworks starting at 7:30pm.

You’ll also find events popping up across the region, including parties at Kip & Nook and themed nights in towns like Spennymoor and Crook.
