People who are out of work and looking for support to get back into employment are being invited to free drop-in sessions hosted by believe housing.
The housing association’s six-week programme is designed to help anyone who may be struggling to find work — including carers, single or stay-at-home parents, people living with a health condition or disability, or those who have been unemployed for a while.
The sessions offer expert advice on CV writing, job searching, career planning, and building confidence. There is also support with digital skills and volunteering opportunities to help boost employability.
As well as practical help, attendees will receive a warm welcome, internet access, and a cuppa.
Sessions will run every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm, starting 17 September and ending 22 October, at 119 Newgate Street, Bishop Auckland, DL14 7EN.
There is no need to book — just drop in and feel free take a friend.
For more information or to sign up, contact believe housing on 0300 1311 999 or email employability@believehousing.co.uk
