How to reset a trip switch

If you find you have no power in your home, this video shares a few simple checks you can do to fix some common electricity faults.

Having a torch will help with this task. You can use the one on your mobile phone.

First turn off or unplug any appliances that could have caused the switches to trip.

Find your fuse box and locate all of the switches that are in the off position.

Ensure that these switches are turned back to the on position.

Plug back in the appliances and turn them back on to check if it causes a trip again.
