coronavirus update

The latest changes in coronavirus restrictions have created new challenges for our repairs service, with more than 10% of our frontline staff being asked to isolate.

We’ve made some temporary changes to services and from Tuesday, 20 July, we will only be handling essential repairs requests until further notice.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

These changes will be reviewed weekly and a full repairs service will be resumed as soon as possible.

aids and adaptations

believe housing’s Occupational Therapy (OT) service primarily undertakes housing need assessments.

Minor adaptations to improve your safety and independence, and meet your long-term needs, from your landlord may include grabrails next to your bath or toilet; or a handrail next to your steps or stairs.

Full OT assessments are undertaken by Durham County Council.
