winter warmers: winter repairs

As you would expect, winter always means more repairs being reported. And when you add in snow, freezing temperatures and the coronavirus pandemic, resources can be stretched.

To help with simple winter repairs we’ve created a series of short and easy to follow videos giving you step by step advice on how to complete tasks like bleeding a radiator, preventing condensation and topping up your boiler, without having to wait for a repair appointment.

In severe weather conditions, believe housing may only be able to respond to genuine emergencies, such as:

  • No heating, lighting or power.
  • Blocked or unusable toilets.
  • Burst pipes or major drainage issues.
  • Water in electrics.

Please bear this in mind if this winter brings severe weather conditions and you need to contact the repairs service. This could help us to attend to vulnerable customers, like the elderly, more quickly.

To report an emergency repair contact our repairs service.
