believe housing ranks highly as a place to work

believe housing has been recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK.

The housing association was named a ‘3 Star , world-class to work for’ employer by Best Companies in the summer.

And it has risen up the charts in three league tables released this week by Best Companies, which measures and recognises workplace engagement.

The not-for-profit landlord, which has 600-plus employees and manages more than 18,000 affordable homes in the North East of England, was ranked:

• Number three in the ‘Best Companies to Work For 2024 in the housing sector’ (moving up three places from sixth last year)
• Number eight in the ‘Best Companies to Work For 2024 in the North East of England’ category (moving up from 18 last year)
• And 22 within the Best Large Companies to Work For 2024 in the UK (compared to 68th last year).
