Although this role is advertised as full-time, we will consider part-time, job share and alternative working pattern proposals where possible.
Where and when you work is flexible depending on the demands of your role, our customers’ needs and your individual work preference (as agreed with your manager).
Our offices are based in Seaham and Bishop Auckland and although we work flexibly, it is envisaged that this role will require both an offsite and onsite presence as per business need when required.
about the role
The Environmental Liaison will support the Environmental Team in the delivery of Home Energy Improvements and be responsible for developing relationships with customers as well as providing technical advice and support in relation to the projects. You will work closely with all service areas across believe, external partners and directly with out customers to support with the delivery of projects which focus on the environmental agenda. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference towards improving energy efficiency within our homes, helping our customers and the planet.
The successful candidate will:
- You will assist the Environmental Manager in the delivery of managing the organisations environmental plans to make our homes more energy efficient. The postholder will work closely with all service areas across believe to deliver on the environmental agenda.
- Support customers, though various interactions prior to work commencing. Use expertise and influencing skills to competently introduce and communicate the project benefits and assess the individual needs of the customer household.
- Actively work with stakeholders, local businesses, and community groups to add value to estates and places.
- Organise customer consultation events and attend any relevant customer or stakeholder meetings.
- Actively participate in the project meetings between internal and external stakeholders providing relevant reports.
- You must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
