If paying for gas and electric takes up a large part of your household budget, then there are ways for you to possibly reduce these bills:
- Check to see if you qualify for the government’s Warm Home Discount Scheme or Winter Fuel Payment.
- See if your supplier has a charitable trust that could help you if you are in arrears.
- Visit CompareTheMarket, uSwitch and MoneySavingExpert for advice on changing supplier.
- Consider changing your payment method.
