What former apprentices think
We have a number of colleagues at believe housing who started their career as an apprentice and have gone on to permanent roles, including some who are now at senior leadership level.
On the following flipcards, three of our colleagues who began as apprentices give their thoughts.
“I’d highly recommend it if you want to gain real experience, build confidence, and learn practical skills while working and earning a qualification. You get to put what you learn into practice every day and work with great people along the way.”
“I would definitely recommend an apprenticeship as I see it as great way of getting into the industry as the only way is up and the development opportunities are excellent as you gain a lot of experience through day-to-day tasks.”
“I‘m helping my younger siblings apply for apprenticeships because I wholeheartedly think it’s the best way of getting yourself on the career ladder.”
