Our offices are based in Seaham and Bishop Auckland and although we work flexibly, it is envisaged that this role will require both an offsite and onsite presence as per business need when required.
about the role
The Stock Condition Surveyor will support the Assets Team to deliver a surveying service across the believe housing portfolio, maintaining the accuracy and consistency of asset data. You will be responsible for undertaking surveys of domestic properties and associated assets to determine the scope of work required, taking into account stock condition, housing health and safety rating system and energy efficiency.
The successful candidate will:
- Ensure that all relevant information is captured and uploaded into the Asset Management System, effective collection of data relating to HHSRS and the assessment/rating of our stock.
- Collecting property information in line with survey demands, including void properties in line with programme requirements and operating plans. You will also support with diagnosing causes of defects relating to fabric and building failure to domestic dwellings as well as assisting with gathering property energy assessments information.
- Undertake periodic site inspections and ad hoc surveys as required to ensure that quality standards are achieved.
- Undertake detailed, condition surveys, technical due diligence surveys, planned preventative maintenance schedules, dilapidations surveys and licences for alterations agreements.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and will need to have excellent customer care skills to be able to liaise and deal with customers.
